Dorchester and Poundbury Business Awards 2023

The awards ceremony for the Dorchester and Poundbury Business Awards took place on 30 March 2023. There were 13 award categories and the focus was on promoting local businesses, encouraging young entrepreneurs, and celebrating the immense commercial talent across the region.

The Duchy of Cornwall were proud to sponsor the award for ‘Young Entrepreneur’ which was presented by Duchy Project Manager, Peter Lacey, to Cameron Small from Honey Asset Finance. Cameron co-founded the business, with his father, when he was 18 and Honey Asset Finance went on to win two further awards at the ceremony ‘B2B Business of the year’ and the prestigious ‘Overall Business of the year’.

It was also fantastic to see a variety of excellent Poundbury businesses winning a total of 4 awards on the day.
