Royal Visits

HRH The Prince of Wales visits Poundbury often to check the progress and meet community members and new businesses. The Royal visits are always met with interest by members of the community and visitors. The Duchy of Cornwall often invites planners, builders and officials from all over the world to share insight into the development.

In 2016 Her Majesty  The Queen paid a special visit to Poundbury to unveil the Queen Mother Statue in Queen Mother Square. This visit was also attended by the HRH Duke of Edinburgh, HRH The Prince of Wales and HRH The Duchess of Cornwall.
