Luxury Monart Spa to open in October

Dorset’s newest luxury spa has opened in Royal Pavilion.

Based in the heart of Queen Mother Square, the Monart Spa Poundbury luxury day spa will provide clients with a restful retreat in its world-class thermal suite.

The new spa follows the success of its five-star luxury Monart Spa in County Wexford, Ireland. As a joint venture with the Duchy of Cornwall, the independent family business will be open six days a weekend will offer day, half day, evening packages and treatment only.

Monart Spa’s Director Liam Anthony Griffin said: “We are thrilled and honoured to be working in partnership with the Duchy of Cornwall and C.G Fry and Son on the development of Monart Spa – Poundbury.

“Monart is all about bringing health and wellbeing to the community, offering a sanctuary to de-stress and forget about the pressures of everyday life. Our guests can treat themselves to half and full day packages of spa treatments delivered by our expert therapists, as well as a world class thermal suite including caldarium, sauna, salt grotto, infrared pro cabin, aroma steam rooms and stunning hydrotherapy pool.  With no membership required, we offer guests a rejuvenating and therapeutic retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life.”

The state-of-the-art day spa is the first UK venture for multi award-winning Monart Destination Spa, Ireland, who have been named as ‘one of the top 10 spas in the world,’ for their retreat in County Wexford, near Dublin.

The spa features a thermal suite, complete with a sanarium, salt grotto, aroma steam room as well as a hydrotherapy pool and more than 30 elite treatments.

Based on the ground floor of Royal Pavilion, Queen Mother Square the flagship development is being constructed by premium south west builders, CG Fry & Son Ltd.
